apasia I loved your motto, "I can be fat and miserable or fat and happy" This is so true. I try to be fat and happy. I realize that I often use food as a crutch to help me through hard times and as crutches go it isn't such a bad one (compared to others I've used) so I forgive myself for using food. It is terribly difficult to learn to love yourself as a fat person when all around you society would have you believe there is something somehow shameful about you for being fat. Look at Dr. Andrew Wiel, by Hollywood's standards he would be considered fat yet he is a health pundit. If you are eating a healthy diet and getting adequate exercise don't worry if you are overweight, so long as you are healthy. Work on loving your insides, not your outsides.
