I'm sure you've heard it all before but there is no such thing as diet...which implies short term suffering and then back to the way you were behaving before.
Long term weight loss involves effort over a long period of time. You have to exercise. It will improve your muscle tone, bone density and make you feel better inside. Releases those nice endorphins. Start with something achievable and work your way up. You have plenty of time. And the happier you are and the more you smile, the more people like you. Give yourself permission to shine.
No food is 'bad', just some you can eat less of, less frequently. Try half a bar of chocolate and put the rest in the bin...a small packet of chips from a multipack rather than a large one. Half a slice of cake. Never deprive yourself, just alter the quantites...more of the good stuff and less of the high sugar, high fat stuff.
