Brenda, as a guy I don't understand why you would want to look like those skinny girls. At 5'3" and 119 pounds, you probably look so much better than they do! Although you may not have experienced it yet, and therefore don't believe it right now, I can tell you that most guys are attracted to girls with "curves in all the right places" (breasts, hips, butts, and thighs), so to speak, not to girls who look more like little boys. As your figure starts developing during the next few years, and those curves start appearing on your body, please don't regard that as a bad thing, and think you have to do something to keep it from happening, such as going on a diet, etc. You are simply becoming a woman, and that is something to be proud of and to celebrate! If you can see that and believe it, it will not only give you the confidence you're seeking, but will also encourage you to dress in clothes that complement whatever your natural figure type is, and then you will project the image of the beautiful young woman that you're becoming, and you'll be the one those skinny girls will all be jealous of, because you'll be getting all the best guys!
Also, don't put too much emphasis on your looks, as that only takes you so far, and doesn't last forever. To really get the things you want most out of life, focus on developing the kind of personality that other people want to be with, and the intelligence to carry on an interesting conversation. Learning to see and bring out the best in other people, and being able to make them feel good about themselves is the key to having the kind of personal relationships that can bring you lasting happiness. I didn't mean for this to turn into a lecture - I just wanted to be encouraging, and get you to think about whether "being like those skinny girls" is really the best goal for you to have.
