I totally agree, Sarah. Think exercising just to do what everyone was telling me to do was what I resisted the most all these years.
Now I'm enjoying stretching everyday because my 40 year old body won't get out of bed without it. My range of movement has really improved. I love to dance, so I dance whenever the spirit moves me. I lift weights because I want to get stronger, but I only do upper body because, frankly, I am a walking weight bearing exercise! I swim because my three year scares the heck out of me in the pool and I need to be able to get to him!
You're NEVER gonna catch me doing Tae Bo, and I refuse to do anything Oprah tries to make us all do. I think she's pushing yoga now. God save the world from Oprah!
