Oh, Brenda, there are probably so many older women reading your post who can remember being at the point you are now, and regretting getting on the diet merry-go-round! Diets will depress you, give you a feeling of failure rather than empowerment, and boy they are guaranteed to make you fatter! Even if you were 219 pounds I would not advise you to diet-and you are only 119! I hope you can believe that there is NOTHING good in life, nothing you would like, that you can't get at your present weight. That is absolutely true. Friends, guys, pretty clothes, popularity and good health-you don't have to lose even one pound to have any or all of them! If only I had known that at 12-I wish there had been someone to tell me. Good luck and enjoy your life for all it's worth-enjoy being YOU. You're good enough for anything, I promise you!
